(Kansas City, MO) -- Technology is invading the large U.S. restaurant chain Applebee's in an effort to make a patron's dining experience easier.
Applebee's officials have announced plans to place tablets at every table in all of its U.S. restaurants by the end of 2014. Visitors would be able order food from the tablet, pay their tab or even play video games while they wait.
Chili's restaurants have already started a similar plan. Analysts predict numerous chain restaurants in the U.S. will start looking at tablets to overhaul the dining experience in the coming years.
