AT&T Cuts Data Charges

(Undated)  --  AT&T is slashing its wireless data charges in an effort to compete with rival T-Mobile.

Customers with one cell phone will pay $65 a month instead of $80 for a plan that includes wireless data, unlimited talk and text messaging.  It's also offering a $200 credit to customers who ditch their current provider.

AT&T is trying to lure customers away from its rival after T-Mobile started focusing its efforts on marketing directly to AT&T customers.
