(24/7 News) -- Google continues to gobble up office space in Silicon Valley.
The "Mercury News" says the Internet giant has bought up multiple buildings over the past few weeks, adding up to more than one-million square-feet of office space. Over the last two years, Google has leased, bought or is planning to develop more than three-million square feet of offices in Mountain View and Sunnyvale.
Google headquarters in Mountain View occupies roughly four-million square feet. By comparison, Facebook's entire operation in Menlo Park totals one-million square feet.
