Harder To Get Home Loans from Big Banks

(KFYI News) The Federal Financial Institutions Council just released data about home loan rejections for 2012.

It found the largest banks, especially Wells Fargo, JP Morgan Chase and Bank of America, turned down the most applicatoins in the country.

All three institutions had rejection rates above 21 percent, with one in particular denying one out of every three borrowers.

Consumers are encouraged to try different institutions for loans, even if they've already been rejected by other banks.
