IMF Chief: U.S. Lawmakers Could Tip Global Economy Into Recession

(Washington, DC)  --  World financial leaders are dismayed by the inability of the U.S. Congress to craft a bipartisan funding bill or to raise the nation's debt limit. 

Officials both the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank met in Washington, DC this weekend. 

The head of the IMF warned that American lawmakers could create a global recession after hearing that talks between President Obama and House Speaker Boehner broke down yesterday.
