Kellogg Cutting 7% Of Global Workforce

(Battle Creek, MI) -- Cereal giant Kellogg will cut its global workforce by seven-percent over the next four years.

The move is part of a cost cutting plan and could mean nearly 2,200 jobs will be eliminated. Kellogg had weaker than expected sales in the third quarter and has lowered its outlook for the year. Kellogg has a total of 31,000 employees worldwide.
