Lexus Tops Consumer Reports' Auto Reliability Survey

(Undated) -- Lexus is taking the top spot in Consumer Reports' annual auto reliability survey.

Japanese car brands earned most of the top ten spots while Audi moved up to fourth place. General Motors' GMC truck brand came in ninth. Lexus and Acura vehicles received above-average reliability scores while Infiniti, Mazda and Toyota models were rated average or better.

Consumer Reports readers gave this year's worst reliability rating to the new Ford C-Max Energi plug-in hybrid.
