Retailer Gap To Raise Its Minimum Wage

(Undated)  --  Employees at the Gap are getting a pay bump.  The retailer announced Wednesday it will increase base pay to $9 an hour by June.  That rate will bump up to $10 an hour in 2015. 

Gap employs more than 130,000 people worldwide.  The new company wide minimum wage will impact employees at Gap and its other retailers, such as Old Navy and Banana Republic.
