(Undated) -- People who have done some Christmas shopping at Target are being urged to take an extra look at their bank accounts. Cyber security expert Jim Stickley says the security breach is unlike anything he's ever seen.
Stickley says the criminals have access to pins and card codes, which can be used to create credit cards that are exactly like owner's card. The hackers can then use the information to shop anonymously online. Stickley says people who think they've been hit by the breach should alert their bank of any strange account activity and get a new card number.
The retail chain has confirmed its system was breached between November 27th and December 15th. More than 40-million customers' credit and debit card information may have been compromised.
Stickley says people should check for new charges on their accounts and alert their bank of any strange activity.
